Hello again fellow Americans. There’s certainly a lot of ‘noise’ out there, huh? With all that we may be going on in our personal lives- the trials and tribulations of life, we have the news bombarding us with all kinds of issues too. I realize some people don’t watch the news. And while ‘I get it’, I don’t think that’s a good idea these days.
I try to help with that through articles and my headline news and opinion page on Facebook called The Constitutional Patriot Disseminator. Please follow my page if you’re on there.
So, what am I getting at with this week’s title that I mentioned last week? Well, while we have some serious issues such as illegal immigration and deportation, fraud, election integrity and SAVE Act, the Iranian conflict, the Russian Ukrainian conflict, the Epstein Files saga, the Sharia Law issue, and more, we have some old issues we shouldn’t forget about that might prevent God from blessing us again if we don’t do something about it.
While we have some elected officials and bureaucrats that won’t say what a woman is, we have the issue of biological males/so-called transgender women playing in women’s sports.
Have you heard about the two former NBA guys that want to identify as a woman (another ridiculous issue) and play in the Women’s NBA? You can’t make that crapola up folks. While biological men playing in women’s sports is an important issue, let’s not forget the evils of transgenderism itself, as well as same sex relationships and marriage.
Then there’s the abortion issue. I have been concerned for years that when dealing with the problem of late term abortion, and even after birth in a few states, that we forget that ALL abortion is murder.
While there are several passages of scripture that deal with the issue, one that I use a lot is Exodus 21:22-23. It deals with the penalty if a pregnant wife’s baby in the womb is ‘accidently’ killed while her husband is defending themselves in a fight with another man. What’s the penalty you may be thinking? A life for a life! So, how much the more for the intentional killing of a baby in the womb? Here are the verses: “If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life…”
I could also apply this topic to the 2nd Amendment vs. gun restriction issue. A gun restriction is a 2nd Amendment infringement- period. Gun Free Zones are just plain stupid. Criminals generally don’t obey them and other gun restriction laws. the 2nd Amendment and Constitution doesn’t give us rights; it helps protect our God-given rights and restrains the Federal Government. Again, never ever give up your guns and ammo. What other issues can you think that some or many may have forgotten about?
Sexual sin is anything outside the bond of marriage between one man and one woman. As soon as we committed out first sin at a very young age, it made us undeserving of Heaven. The Lord Jesus Christ lived a perfect, sinless life, shed His blood, died on the cross, and rose again for all those that are born-again unto repentant faith. While repentance isa result of salvation, it’s also something that we continue to do in our Christian journey- at least with me, but I think for all Christians to one degree or another if they’re honest with themselves and God. There’s forgiveness for these sins and more, in Christ. Everything we do to try to preserve our Constitutional Republic could be for nothing if the US doesn’t repent of our nationally condoned sins, but we can keep on keeping on trying to keep it. Remember, God said He would have spared Sodom and Gomorrah if there was at least 10 righteous people. Are we praying?!
God’s word says judgment begins with the house of God. Has the body of Christ been doing her part when it comes to these issues and more that we hopefully haven’t forgotten about?
Look, I know that not all of my vast number of readers out there like it when I include “religion” in my articles. You can take it or leave it :-). But if unbelievers are wrong, they have a ‘whole lotta mo’ to lose than born-again believers do. I’m not trying to get followers just for the sake of it and my time in this life may be running short. I’m a “Christian Patriot” and won’t compromise my beliefs and avoid writing about the Lord altogether just to get more followers. I expect to lose at least one after this article. If so, so be it. God will not be mocked, and the Bible teaches that there is coming a time when enough will be enough. I hope you and I are on the same page. If so, please help me reach more people. Thank you!
